Got this question about raw food: “You know I eat mostly raw now, but I plan to help others get off processed food by having them follow my raw routine and showing them why it’s better for long-term health. Is that a good idea???” Not really. I’m not saying it never works. But first, how do you know their health isn’t already thriving? And second, that isn't transformation. That’s lecturing. I can’t speak for anyone else, but back when I ate the standard way, none of my shifts came from someone telling me facts. It was always by seeing. I’d be reading, observing others, I’d come across something like, “so what actually happens when we cook food?” I’d dig into it from there. How raw foods preserve enzyme integrity. How cooking breaks down critical nutrients. And does that affect digestion...? (I bet you could take it from there.) Point is I was discovering. Not being told. I asked questions, saw what was really happening, and let the facts reveal themselves, instead of someone trying to push me. Of course, the food itself did most of the heavy lifting. The results probably did 80% of the work. People came to raw not because someone explained it, but because they watched others regain energy, lose inflammation, feel younger every day. Hey, want health? Start eating raw, daily. I mean, think about it: If you're the ONLY one bringing living food into your body with information encoded by sunlight and enzymes, who do you think your cells are going to respond to? The guy eating cooked, pasteurized, enzyme-dead, calorie-dense food? Of course your body will respond to raw. It might be the only real chance it ever gets.
