If you’re having trouble seeing yourself healthy

Q: What can I do if I have trouble seeing myself living this way for life -- eating high raw or plant-based without slipping back?

A: You can start by seeing yourself making one plate, one bowl, one simple meal. You can even begin by imagining that you’re holding an apple in your hand, crisp and fresh. Over time, you can make this picture bigger, a table filled with fresh foods, a full day’s worth of wholesome meals, and set it wherever you want. Conversely, you can even start by seeing yourself exactly where you are, with what’s in your kitchen right now. Can you close your eyes and sense the apple, the beans, the greens within reach? How about the feeling after you eat them -- lighter, clearer, more alive? Start with the small stuff and you’ll gradually get the hang of it.
