Calorie-counting madnezz

Some of the most subversive advice I ever encountered:

“Instead of asking how little to eat, ask what nourishes most.”

I first came across it in a book on raw nutrition.

(And a short section on micronutrient density.)

And, I have found it to be relentlessly true.

For example:

Many dieters obsess over cutting calories.

“Oh, I dropped to 1200 calories a day!!!”

“Okay. But did your body heal?”

“...”

They don’t know.

They aren’t tracking regeneration. They simply believe if their calorie count is down, that’s how to measure nutritional success.

Yes, caloric awareness has its place.

Don’t misunderstand.

But let’s apply it to biology.

Imagine you're healing a broken bone.

Cells, tissues, systems - all needing repair.

Would you care how few calories you consumed? Or are you going to care how richly fed your cells are, so you can regenerate the way your body was designed to do in the first place?

Most diet “experts” seem to care about everything BUT nutrient density.

Like calorie counts.

Points systems.

Meal replacement gimmicks.

How many pounds lost on the scale, etc.

It’s a circus.

Yes, those metrics are fine to note.

But just make sure they’re noticing what their body’s really getting, too.

After all...

What actually drives reversal of disease?

Fewer calories and skipped meals...

Or micronutrients?

Anyway, if you want to start eating in a way that makes healing predictable (and trims fat as a side effect...) then look into high-nutrient protocols.

It’s clinical.

And it’s not for those just “trying” nutrition.

(If you don’t follow through, don’t start.)

But the changes people are seeing in their health still surprise even me sometimes.

(And I eat this way every day.)

P.S. I’m experimenting with a way to turn diet objections and calorie-counting arguments into wins. If it works (and I won’t know if it will or not for a while) I’ll not only stop worrying when people fixate on portions, I’ll use it to reinforce the real message.

If it does work, I’ll fold it into what I’m sharing next.

Fun times ahead…
